This policy explains what information Track AI (“we”, “the app”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple and honest.

Who we are

Track AI is a personal-finance app that helps you track spending, set budgets and savings goals, plan events, and (optionally) share a combined money view with family. You can reach us at hello@trackai.synergyzone.in.

Information we collect

Account details you provide when you sign up: your name, age, profession, email address, and mobile number.
Financial information you enter: the transactions, budgets, and savings goals you add yourself.
Login information: your password is stored only in a securely hashed (scrambled) form — we never store or see your actual password.
Basic technical data needed to run the service (such as your login session token).

We do not automatically read your bank accounts, UPI apps, or SMS. Everything in your account is information you chose to add.

How we use your information

To provide the app — show your spending, budgets, reports, goals, and calendar.
To keep you signed in across your phone, laptop, and the web.
To power family sharing — only with people you personally invite.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How your data is stored and protected

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (databases and hosting provided by Neon and Render). All communication with the app uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing.

Sharing with others

The only time your information is visible to another person is family sharing, and only after you invite them and they accept. You can leave a shared household at any time from the app.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your details in the app.
You can request that your account and all its data be deleted — just email us.
You can stop family sharing whenever you like.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems.

Children

Track AI is intended for users aged 13 and above. If you are under 18, please use the app with a parent or guardian’s awareness.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the “last updated” date at the top.
